Sitaare Zameen Par is the heartwarming tale of Gulshan, a conceited basketball coach who finds himself in a drunk driving incident., apart from the other troubles he has created in his professional and personal life, largely due to his insensitive nature and no-filters speech. The court sentences him to few months of community service, wherein he has to coach a team of Neurodivergent adults (people with Down’s Syndrome and on the Autism Spectrum). Gulshan comes with preconceived notions about them and patronizing plans on how to teach them.
