Dedicated veterinarian Amanda Lamont revises her Christmas plans and dumps her influencer boyfriend after he labels her an “invisible girlfriend.” The next morning, she learns that a winter storm caused widespread damage to her charming hometown of Arborville. Just before Amanda rushes home to help, a surprise package arrives: a handcrafted Christmas ornament inscribed with the mysteriously familiar phrase “You light my night.” Upon arriving, Amanda is thrown into an unexpected reunion with her rugged high school sweetheart, Trevor Durman. He is repairing the town’s cherished nativity scene, and they must work together to complete the repairs before the cynical mayor cancels the beloved tree-lighting ceremony. Forced into an uneasy partnership, Amanda’s hyper-organized style clashes beautifully with Trevor’s chaotic artistry, reigniting their old flame. But when the project ends with a poignant kiss, Amanda is overwhelmed and flees back to her familiar city life. Ultimately, Amanda realizes her heart belongs in Arborville with Trevor. Returning for the annual tree-lighting, she discovers Trevor was the original creator of the magical ornament. Under the glowing branches of the newly lit Christmas tree, Amanda and Trevor share a beautiful kiss, proving that true love always finds its way home.
