At select Galaxy Theatres locations, guests can donate new school supplies, backpacks, and other classroom essentials to support students in the communities we serve start the school year with confidence.
From notebooks and crayons to backpacks and other everyday essentials, every donation helps local students with the tools they need for a successful school year. Together, these small acts of generosity create a lasting impact.
Back to School Bash | Tulare
At the beginning of the month, our Tulare location partnered with the Tulare Police Department for its 3rd Annual Back-to-School Bash. In the weeks leading up to the event, guests donated school supplies at the theatre for a chance to win A Year at the Movies. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, the drive helped provide school supplies to more than 700 local students, giving them the resources they need to start the school year strong.
Pack the Mack | Boulevard, Cannery, Green Valley
Another inspiring example comes from our Las Vegas theatres—Boulevard, Cannery, and Green Valley—which proudly partnered with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and fellow community organizations for Pack the Mack, an annual back-to-school event held at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV.
As official donation drop-off locations, our theatres welcomed guests who generously contributed backpacks and school supplies. Thanks to the incredible support of our community and event partners, this year's record-breaking Pack the Mack helped provide backpacks and school essentials to more than 15,000 local students, ensuring thousands of children headed back to school ready to learn.
It's partnerships like these that remind us what can happen when a community comes together. We're proud to play a part in helping students and families start the school year with confidence, one donation, one partnership, and one act of kindness at a time.
